Arconic is the solo project of electronic musician and sound artist, Rob Parton. His work explores sound, space, and deep listening through immersive spatial audio, field recording, and live improvisation. He creates sound works that respond to place, architecture, and environment, using slow change, repetition, and spatial movement to support attentive and calming listening. His practice draws on synthesis, feedback systems, and environmental recording. He works across fixed media, installation, and live performance, using ambisonics, multichannel speaker arrays, binaural, and stereo formats.
