We’re building Show of Hands together. Every year, ticket-holders are invited to propose ideas and vote for their favourites. The proposals with the most votes will become part of the festival, forever.

How the vote works

Once you’ve got a ticket, you can log in and take part.

On the Proposals page, you’ll find ideas suggested by other ticket-holders: from activities and traditions to ways the festival runs. This is also where you can submit your own ideas.

If you like a proposal, give it a hands up vote. If it’s not for you, give it a hands down vote. Each ticket-holder can vote once per proposal. When voting closes, the three most popular ideas are chosen. These become part of the festival this year, and into the future.

Our guiding rule

There’s just 1 rule as our starting point:

All proposals shall better the festival’s future, its community, or spread joy. We won’t accept ideas that would stop the festival from running (free tickets for all, sacking the crew, sinking the ship before it sails). Everything else is open for discussion.
