We’re building Show of Hands together. Every year, ticket-holders are invited to propose ideas and vote for their favourites. The proposals with the most votes will become part of the festival, forever.

What is Lore?

The Lore sets out the governing rules of Show of Hands. They’re here to protect the land, the people and the spirit of the festival. By stepping onto the field, you agree to be part of that shared responsibility.

How the vote works

Once you’ve got a ticket, you can log in and take part.

On the Proposals page, you’ll find ideas suggested by other ticket-holders: from activities and traditions to ways the festival runs. This is also where you can submit your own ideas.

If you like a proposal, give it a hands up vote. If it’s not for you, give it a hands down vote. Each ticket-holder can vote once per proposal. When voting closes, the three most popular ideas are chosen. These become part of the festival this year, and into the future.

Proposals will be gathered and written into the Lore on 22nd February, with the final additions confirmed on 22nd March.

After that, the Lore settles, and is ready to guide what we build together in May.

2. A Wacky pilates workshop led by megaphone
